What can you tell us about your luxury spa?
With selected materials from the Alpine forests and regionally sourced natural ingredients, we bring nature into our waldSPA. The concentrated strength of the elements also ensures energy, relaxation and beauty: pure Alpine water, clear mountain air, strong earth and warming fire. Why is this closeness to nature so important for your wellness TIME at the Forsthofgut? The forest has always shaped our Forsthofgut, or “forest farm”. So it was clear to us: a timeout and spa feeling also means feeling nature. In the 3,800 m² waldSPA, you will find an adults-only area with something extraordinary: Use the large old wood sauna with a view of our game enclosure, calming herbal and steam baths and organic saunas. You can recharge your batteries in our outdoor pool with mountain views, relax in the whirlpool on the edge of the forest or take a plunge into the organic bathing lake. For fitness enthusiasts we offer a fitness center, advice and courses with personal trainers.
What makes you unique?
Unique in our spa is the architecture and the relation to the forest. We opened in 2016 with the “first forest spa in Europa” and we are voted the most beautiful wellness hotel in 2018 by Geo Saison. We also invite families to our family spa waldWIRBEL: Here, children can splash around in the indoor and outdoor pool to their heart’s content before they relax together with their parents in one of our well-tempered saunas or in the cozy relaxation rooms. We also offer specific treatments for children to enjoy such as the Forest Gnome and Forest Fairy massages.

Our ultimate treatment is: ESSENTIAL OIL – full-body massage with essences of wild herbs and ingredients of the forest. (50 min)
For couples, the TIME FOR TWO treatment – free your body from burdens of your everyday life, inhale the unlimited vibration of lightness, and spend time together. Indulge yourselves in minerals, heat, steam, selected flower and herbal essences, and gentle massage rhythms, a refreshing foot bath with forest flower extracts on heated river-bed stones, a herbal tea, followed by a warm, deeply purifying and energizing steam room with Turkish bath pack with tourmaline minerals, edelweiss and mineral-tonic scrub/exfoliation with activating juniper, massage with selected flower and herbal essence oils and relaxation in the Forest Spa lounge.
