Walking into the Anara Spa you are welcomed by the natural elements, openness, and vast beauty. The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort’s breathtaking beachfront location provides a resounding backdrop for relaxation and gratitude. The aloha spirit overflows here with kindness, love, and good feelings all around. Each person radiates positive energy and makes you feel like ‘ohana.

Arriving early and experiencing the 45,000 square foot open air spa facilities is recommended. Start your journey off with a flow yoga class or a swim with the sun on your back in the lap pool. Take in the traditional Hawaiian elements found throughout and browse the Kauai art and local made goods in the shop.

Move on to enjoy the hot pool, eucalyptus steam and dry sauna before lounging with a cool beverage in the garden waiting area. Taking your treatment in the garden is recommended. Experience the warmth of the island and listen to the soothing sounds of birds singing while in your private, open air cabana.

The service here is flawless. Expert hands delivered a rejuvenating treatment called the Pineapple Papaya Hydration – a full body treatment of naturally exfoliating fruits massaged all over your body and finished with a papaya cream to leave your skin silky smooth. The serenity of the private garden with outdoor lava shower was perfectly appointed and made for a peaceful experience. Indulgent details throughout the treatment make this spa paradise.

After your treatment, continue to relax at the spa or wander over to the Seaview Terrace and take in the expansive view of the Pacific with a cappuccino or signature cocktail. The Maha’ulepu Heritage Trail is also just steps down the beach should you wish to wander further.

Walking away from the Anara Spa and the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa you will feel the serenity of the island and culture and the revitalization of a uniquely Hawaiian healing experience. Mahalo.
